04/09/2007: "Weather for this week"

Looks like winter isn't going away yet. The latest check is showing a cold storm moving into the Sierra on Wed with 6-10 inches forecast by Thurs. morning. The forecast is also calling for windy conditions in the mountains and the Owens Valley starting today. The temps in Bishop will be dropping back to the low 60's with lows right around freezing. The longer range forecast is looking like we could see a storm every three days or so for the couple weeks. Let's keep our fingers crossed. We need some good April snow this year.
