04/10/2007: "Re: Robin"

Robin,
Thanks, it's good to be back. I'm doing pretty good. I'm going to give you the Buffett quote I'm giving everyone when they ask me that.

"I have good days smile
and bad days sad
and going half mad daysconfused"

I'd say I have more good days now than anything else. Diving back into the web site and also starting the new site have been good therapy for me. Of course it's been these web sites that have made me half mad the last couple of days.

As for North Lake, the road is still closed at the bridge. There doesn't appear it be any snow on it though. I don't know what it's like at the lake. There were about five cars parked at the gate, so people are hiking in already. I bet they open the road for the fishing opener.

Steven - yea, comments back up! been trying to post this the last couple of days. i was checking out your new website, Calif. Nature Photographers Journal, and read your comments on the current status of the valley's iris. coincidentally, i just recently changed my wallpaper to one of your iris pictures from about 4 years ago and had been meaning to ask you about the current "crop". guess you answered that question!

Thanks for the beautiful picture. You know how much we love that area. It is now my wallpaper, though it was hard to replace that sunset. Would you put that sunset in wallpaper, please? Know you are thought of, each and every day. Hang in there. smile

Cool about North Lake road. That would be a great place to hike with my dogs if it is still closed! Thanks!!

And, right, forgot about you being a Parrot Head. So, if you have time today, Wednesday, check out the live stream at www.kusp.org from 11:06 until 1 PM (click on "listen&quotwink You never know what you'll hear.... smile
