04/12/2007: "Photoshop Tutorial"

For those of you that use Photoshop, or even those that don't, I just posted my first ever Photoshop tutorial on CalNaturePhoto.
Go check it out and let me know what you think.
I'm kind of proud of it. I've submitted it to a few photoshop tutorial sites and if it gets accepted it should mean a ton of traffic coming into the new site. LOL

Good article. I've never really tried that method. Usually when I blend 2 images, I like to use a layer mask on the top image and use the gradient tool. Depending on how much gradient you use, you can recreate a soft or hard edged split ND filter.

nice article...maybe...just maybe... you might want to post a "photo for beginners" area on this website that then links to the new one?? Great job!!

Hi Steve - Went over to look at CalNature Photo and read your advice and I wish I had time to take to actually follow it. It sounds very, very helpful. Anyway, glad you are keeping up with things on your site. I always enjoy reading and looking and all that. Just got back from Colorado. We were at Vail over the weekend and then Colorado Springs. Not much snow at Vail. Some of the lifts closed this past Monday. They are expecting quite a storm though... Take Care, Steve. Lord Bless you. Lisa
