Can you believe it?

Where were you one year ago today?
I’ll tell you where I was.
One year ago today my brother and I pulled out of Bishop and started our 2100 mile journey to the great Midwest.
On that first day we drove from Bishop to Holbrook Az. We had rain most of the way and hit major rain going through the mountains in Flagstaff Az.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year. I’ll have much more on this later this week.

Winter Storm Warning for Kenosha

WooHoo!! Here we go, the first winter storm warning of the season for us back here in Wisconsin. 6-10 inches of snow is forecast for today and tonight with winds 20-30 mph.

We’ve already had a little rain this morning, the wind has picked up and the snow is knocking on our door.

I had hoped to go out and shoot some video of this storm, but with the winds forecast as high as they are I don’t know if I’ll get that chance. Maybe I’ll try to shoot some through the windows.

Another B&W

I’ve really been in a black and white mood the last few days. Started playing with this one last night and didn’t get to bed until almost midnight. It’s of the capital building in Madison WI.

Lake Michigan in Balck and White

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We did.

Here’s a new black and white image for you guys. It’s of Lake Michigan on a very windy day last spring. I’ve always loved the color version of this shot and just realized the other day that it might make a cool B&W. So I started playing with it today and came up with this.

Lake Michigan near the Wind Point Lighthouse in Balck and White.
