September 29th, 2009 Author: Steven

The pictures are beginning to roll in from last weekend in the Eastern Sierra and there’s some great images out there. Here’s a list of what I’ve found so far.

There are a few photographers not included in the list because you can see their images in the Eastern Sierra Flickr Group.

Here’s one more link. It’s not Eastern Sierra images but Vermont images and they are awesome.

Get Well Kahlee

Our friend Kalhee took a spill up Bishop Creek this morning and now has some stitches and a big bump on her head as a souvenir from  fall colors 2009. Of course she now gets to stay an extra day in Bishop and is already thinking of sunrise tomorrow up Bishop Creek. Let’s all wish her well and remind her to not take the “Trip n Fall” so literally anymore :-)

Interesting, Severe Thunderstorms Possible

September 27th, 2009 Author: Steven

Looks like we have a chance of some severe weather here in South-East Wisconsin this evening. Here’s the latest from the National Weather Service:

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY
NEXT FEW HOURS ACROSS SRN WI…BUT WITH SWD DEVELOPMENT INTO ERN IA
AND NRN IL POSSIBLE. BOTH SUPERCELLS AND LINE SEGMENTS ARE LIKELY
WITH DAMAGING WIND AND LARGE HAIL THE MAIN THREATS…BUT AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. A WW WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED
BEFORE 00Z.

Guess I’ll be keeping a close eye on the radar tonight.
