Yesterday when I posted my photos from our trip to the pumpkin farm, I mentioned all of the displays that they have there. Most of them are themed towards cartoons and kid stuff and that’s what makes them fun. Lynne put up some of her photos last night, they tend to show more of the farm than mine do, you can check them out on her Flickr stream: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42502529@N06/
Her pictures from the farm are on the first 2 pages.
On Sunday, Lynne and I went over to the Jerry Smith Pumpkin Farm here in Kenosha, to visit their annual fall festival. Every year from September through October they decorate their 20 acre pumpkin farm with all kinds of cool displays. Everything from The Wizard of Oz to Winnie the Pooh to superheros can be found, all with pumpkin heads. The main reason I wanted to go was to get some cool photos of pumpkins and corn, I wasn’t disappointed. Here is a slide show of some of the images I was able to get. I’ll leave the photos of the displays for another time, most likely when Lynne gets her shots up because she shot them all and I didn’t.
