Wish it would start warming up here. Got more snow this morning. I heard our season total is 112 inches (nothing compared to the Sierras, but twice our normal). Plus I’m tired of dealing with the wreckless drivers in snow. This guy this morning was driving about 70mph on the ice, then started passing people in blind turns almost hitting cars head on.

I’m hoping to shoot more wildflowers this year. Not sure how nice they will be though. We’re below normal in precip. for the winter.

The warmer weather is great. We were out shopping yesterday and it was so nice to not have the heavy coat on.

I think they pulled the fishing shacks off of Mille Lacs about this time last year.

Must be nice to have the weather warming up a bit. I’d noticed that all the fishing shacks seem to have been pulled off Mille Lacs. Seems early to me but what I know about ice fishing could be written on the head of a pin.

here in the oc it’s known as the wild weed season, plenty of which is in my back yard. (no not that kind!) =^)

Thanks, Steven. If anyone has questions, they’re welcome to contact me. From here on, I will also be posting my personal wildflower reports on my blog as well as through Carol Leigh’s Wildflower Hotline. Will try to keep things brief for Carol and elaborate on the blog, also noting road conditions, wildlife sightings, etc. I love this season and look forward to exploring many areas over the next few months. Also looking forward to seeing images of Spring from Wisconsin!
