A Little Touch of Spring

December 27th, 2008 Author: Steven

Today,
50 degrees, foggy, raining, wet.
Thunder possible later.
There’s even Tornado Watches in Illinois.

The snow is melting…..

Fast!!
And check it out,

The grass is still green.

Scout’s happy, he got to poop in his yard.
I’m sure that folks that live along the rivers aren’t happy though.
The rivers might be flooding.

Tonight,
Winter returns.
Chance of snow, green grass turns white again.

But hey,
It’s late December in Wisconsin and it’s a long ways till April.
This little touch of Spring feels good.

Brrrr! Just heard on our local ABC 11:00pm news here in L.A. that Green Bay has received almost 40 inches of snow thus far in December, breaking a record that was set in 1887! Sounds like you’re bringing a bit of the Sierra’s snow numbers to the mid-west. ;-) Stay warm!
