Breaking News: Bishop Creek
I just got an email from my brother Brian in Bishop. He heard on the police scanner that they are evacuating all of Bishop Creek due to multiple lightning strike fires up there. I’ll update as I get more info.

For what it’s worth we can see quite a wall of clouds from here on the west side of the range. Hey Steve it looks like the comments section is turned off on the Sierra Nevada webcams page.

Heard from someone earlier that there were some severe thunderstorm warnings in that area. From the Visalia area, huge t-heads were visible earlier.
Very frustrating night. I can’t find any information on these fires. I guess I use to be the guy who reported on these things right away. Now that I’m not there, nobody does.
