Computer update and the next month or so
Well I went ahead and ordered a new computer. It was supposed to be here yesterday, but FedEx tracking says that I wasn’t home when they came by. That’s funny cause I was home all day waiting for them. I think someone didn’t want to deliver it yesterday and since it’s not officially supposed to be here until Monday, they thought they’d just wait. The Bishop FedEx is know for doing that.The tracking now says it will be delivered today. I know that FedEx delivers on Saturday but I don’t know if the Bishop office does or not. I really don’t want to wait around all day for them, I want to head up Bishop Creek and check out the trees.
But anyway, the new computer should be here either today or Monday and then I can get a new picture up on Visions of the Sierra. I will try to get up Bishop Creek today or tomorrow and check out the trees.
I wanted to let you guys know that I will be pretty busy over the next two weeks and I might not get to much posted on the site.
Also, I may be going back to Wisconsin around the first of Oct. As of now I will be going, but plans could change. I’ll keep you up to date.
Scout and I will be driving back and checking out some places I’ve always wanted to see, so it will be at least a two week trip and maybe even a three to four week trip. Of course I’ll have the laptop with me so I should be able to keep you updated on things.
The bad news is that I won’t be here to give any fall color reports. Not Eastern Sierra ones anyway. I’m hoping to see and shoot a lot of fall colors in Wisconsin.
Steven you will be SO missed. May you have have safe trip, enjoy and relax. Scout will be in dog heaven hangin’ with you on a road trip. How fun!! Maybe we will have to update you on the fall colors up the canyon…. One can only hope!!

Ahhhhhghhhh and Fall seems early to me this year. I wanted to see your take on it in the foothills – compared to here in the Wine Country. My guess is you can use the trip away. The only thing I miss about buiness travel is seeing the US in all the seasons. The MidWest was a favorite of mine … believe it or not. The people were always so wonderful to me.

Steve – Was out of town for awhile…and it was hectic upon my return. Seminar in Vegas. Not my cup of tea, but I wanted to send you my well wishes before you were off. So, God Bless your journey.
