Few Pictures from the Trip
Here are a few pictures from our trip.
The first one is of Pikes Peak in Colorado. Pikes Peak is over 14,000 feet and is a very intimidating mountain towering behind Colorado Springs. The other three are from a sunrise shoot in the Buttermilk Hills. We met our SierraVisions friend Kahlee on Sunday for the Buttermilk shoot. And though the sunrise wasn’t the best, it was a pleasure to meet her and shoot some pictures with her.

The sunrise was magical simply because I got to meet you and Lynn. What a joy! Thanks so much for letting me share a bit of your precious time in Bishop — even if it needed to be at dawn to fit into your busy schedule! LOL!!! ;-) Hugs to you both!!!
Fantastic shots! Interesting how relatively “gentle” the slopes of Pikes Peak appear to be – as opposed to the sheer cliffs of Mt. Whitney, for example
That’s cuz the Sierra’s are much “younger” mountains than the Rockies and mostly the product of volcanic and slip fault geologic activity.
Beautiful Pics ! Looking forward to seeing the rest.
Kahlee, lucky you, to meet Steven and Lynne. These pictures are great, I love the buttermilks. Steven did you come across any deer while there? See any bald Eagles? Looking forward to more pictures. Thanks so much for sharing!!
No deer or eagles.
Hey, Steven, you’re forgetting about the two mule deer we saw on the pre-dawn drive up into the hills! Literally, “deer in headlights!”
Forgot about them. It was much to early in the morning ;-)
