Ok guys, here it is, the official announcement.
I’ll be leaving for Wisconsin this Friday the 30th.
It’s pretty hard for me to believe, I only have four more days in the Eastern Sierra. Wow!!
So I’ll be leaving on Friday, having Scout with me and with my brother driving the U-haul truck it’s going to take us three days to get there, so I should be there on Sunday.
Hopefully I can get my internet turned on right away. If not I’ll find access somewhere and let you guys know that I made it ok.

Wisconsin seems like an awfully cold place this time of year but as I write this, the current temp in Madison is 28 and the temp in Bishop is 33 - only 5 degrees different. So much for sunny, warm California!

Of course the weekend you leave, just HAD to be the first weekend when Ol’ Man Winter decided to dump his first snowy weather in Midwest. Read reports that the roads were snarled and blocked from Iowa to Wisconsin. Hope you arrived safely to you destination.
Sure hope you had a very safe trip to Wisconsin. Please let us know when you arrive since the weather has been so bad all across the USA this weekend. Every news station, newspaper and of course internet shows the worst of it. Hope they turned the heat on in your new apartment for you……..
