Kenosha’s First Snow of the Season
Here’s a video snapshot of this afternoon’s snow. We only got about half an inch. It looks like a lot more than that in the video, but that’s because the snow was so light and fluffy that it laid on top of the grass. This snow was so light it was like down feathers.
Looks like it snowing out there again. They are still calling for 3-5 inches tonight. Tomorrow morning may be a beautiful one. I’m hoping so. I love going out to photograph the season’s first snowfall.

Steven – yet another nicely done video. i think you’re getting ready for a new role as a video-ographer!
That’s what I’d love to do. I need a better video camera though. I feel shooting video is the next step up in my photography. There’s so much more I can do with video on a creative level. I also love editing and putting together the final video.
you have good music selections too. be nice if you could get paid for doing it.
ps: whose boat?
The neighbor’s across the street. That’s Lake Michigan in the background by the way.
That was really nice Steven!! Do the nieghbors think your a little wack seeing you film snow that they take for granted?? I loved watching it snow! I have only seen snow falling once in my life, and it was no where near as thick coming down. thanks!!
The neighbors didn’t even know I was doing this. I shot it from my living room window :-)
now wait! that cheating. you’re supposed to IMMERSE yourself in it!
I’ll be IMMERSED in it soon enough. Yesterday I was enjoying it from the comfort of home ;-)
