Owens Valley Earthquake

October 1st, 2009 Author:

Sounds like there’s some rockin’ and rollin’ going on in the Owens Valley. A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit this morning at 3:01 AM(PDT). It was centered 18 miles south-east of Lone Pine. Looking on Google Earth it appears to have been centered in the Owens Lake Lakebed.

It’s just Lady Sierra reminding everyone that she’s not quite done growing yet :-)
