Rain and the Trees
It started raining sometime early Thursday morning or late Wednesday night. It stopped raining this afternoon around one o’clock. Total rain fall, 1.9 inches. There’s still a few sprinkles around, but I don’t know if it’s enough to push us over 2 inches or not.
Lot’s of wind with this storm. The lake roared all night long and there are still some big waves out there.
What’s this done to the trees? While on the way home from the airport this morning I drove by Petrifying Springs, the trees took a big hit but it looks like a lot of the leaves made it through. There’s still good color out there, just need the wind to die down now.
Tomorrow is an in between storms day, I’m hoping it will be a good picture taking day.
