Tioga Pass and Couple of other things

May 1st, 2008 Author: Steven

The plow crew on the Tioga Road is now 32 miles from Crane Flat, they are at Pywiack Dome. The average snow depth is 3 feet. By the looks of the Tioga Pass Cam, it appears that plows have went through the east side too. I’m beginning to think that the pass may be open for Memorial Day this year.

I have a bunch of new pictures to show you guys, I just haven’t got around to getting them ready for the site yet. I’m going to try to get them up in the next couple of days. Hopefully I will get them them up this evening.

On Monday I start a new job. I just got hired on Tuesday. So things may slow down a little around here for a bit. I have a feeling I’m going to be pretty pooped in the evening until I get comfortable with the job.

Other than that, things are going well back here. It sounds like we’re in for another round of thunderstorms over the next few days. At the moment, there aren’t any severe storms forecast.
