Winter Storm Watch
The National Weather Service has posted Winter Storm Watches for parts of the Northern Sierra through Friday night. A strong little storm is making it’s way into the Sierra and should bring high winds and cold temps this weekend. Snow levels for the west side of the Sierra should drop to around 3000 feet. There is even a chance of some snow in the northern Owens Valley on Saturday. Most of the heavier snowfall will be north of Mono County, but the Mammoth area is expecting snow to fall tomorrow and Saturday. It looks like high winds will be the main factor south of Tahoe.
